~Welcome to God’s Little Treasure Bugs~

~About this site~

Welcome to my “God’s Little Treasure Bugs” website. You’re probably wondering what “bug” has to do with anything! My dad always told me that I should become a writer someday and since he used to call me Tessbug, I wanted to include his endearing name for me and use “bug” in the title of my blog.  I love to share the fruits of my contemplation in scripture and consider everything I learn as God’s treasures for me to store in my heart.  I look at my bible study time as though I’m going on a treasure hunt for God’s promises. I’m very excited  to put a “little bug” in your ear about all the treasures I find on my treasure hunt and I hope the treasures will bring you nothing but, comfort, love, joy and peace.

The following two verses have been instilled in my heart from both my mom and my dad. They were the perfect Christian role models of such a beautiful Catholic faith and they taught me how to love Christ with complete trust. I will be forever grateful for their examples and I pray that I will be able to keep their legacy alive.

~Phil 4:5-9 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

~Prov 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

My two favorite verses below have taught me that no matter what happens in my life, I will be able to get through any situation because God will give me the strength to do so. My favorite treasure in the bible is receiving the greatest comfort in knowing that Lord will always be my Shepherd.

~Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who gives me Strength.

~Psalm 23:1 The Lord is My Shepherd, I shall not want
